By Default, Netgear routers come with an assigned IP Address known as Netgear Router IP. The Assigned IP can be either 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1. This Grant access to the router. One can also gain access to the router by typing in the URL in the address bar either http://www.routerlogin.net or http://www.routerlogin.com.
Note: To Gain access on must be connected to the router from a wired connection (Ethernet Cable) or wireless one.
How to Change Netgear Password or network name(SSID)?
In order to learn how to change Netgear Password or the Network Name you can follow the below steps.

- Oper your Web Browser and enter the required URL in the address bar. I.e. http://www.routerlogin.net or http://www.routerlogin.com. You can also do with the assigned IP
- When you are redirected to the Login Page. Type In the Router Username and Password in the Given Space.
- Default username and password for your netgear router are admin and password respectively.
- Click on the OK button.
- The Home page of your router will be open on the Screen.
- Choose the Wireless Tab.
- Enter the New Network Name for your SSID Field.
- In the Network Fields enter your New Network Password choose it wisely.
- Tap on the Apply Button and your changes will be saved.
